QA Factory Inspector

Description

A great opportunity has arisen for a "hands–on" Quality Control Inspector with excellent attention to detail to work within a long established manufacturing company in Medway Towns on a permanent basis. You will be from a manufacturing background and ideally have some previous QC experience.

Working Monday–Thursday 06.00–16.30 and Friday 06.00–14.30, you will be assisting with the inspection of the initial moulds made in the department directly reporting to the Team Leader.

Your main duties will include:

Checking and signing "first off" parts for operators so that production can commence.Inspecting engineering patterns to verify accuracy to drawing and techniques.Trimming the mouldings from the manufacturing process.Patching or repairing mouldings that the team leader deems economical to repair.Delivering trays of completed work to the assembly department to work on.Checking that previous operations have been accurately booked on the job cards and the system has been updated.Completing job cards and recording the data on to the system.The rate of pay is 12.36 per hour, 48 hours per week.
