The Staffing Network is a labour provider across the UK.
Plater/Fabricator required to work from , Chesterfield
Type of Work
Permanent position with a well–established steel fabrication company (over 45 years in business).
Specialising in medium/heavy bespoke steel fabrications including bridges, staircases, and gantries (Road & Rail).
Work involves fabrication, welding, and development in a heavy engineering environment.
Shift Patterns
Monday to Thursday: 06 30 (4–day working week) Overtime available at time and a half Expected hours: 40 per week Pay Rates (PAYE)
Standard Rate: GBP16.00 GBP17.00 PAYE / GBP18.40 GBP19.55 inc Holiday Overtime Rate: Time and a half Requirements
Confident plater or fabricator Ideally apprentice trained or holding relevant qualifications Strong MIG welding skills Experience operating fabrication machinery Must have worked within a heavy steel industry Ability to read and work from engineering drawings from scratch Good understanding of health & safety procedures Minimum 5 years experience preferred Benefits
