Salary: GBP15.50 per hour – GBP31,800 per annum plus OT

Overtime: Time and a half

Hours: 4–day working week Monday–Thursday 39.5 hours (day shift)

Production Team Leader Overview

Join a great team looking for a Production Team Leader to work with their Warehouse Manager for my long–term Client in their busy warehouse based in the Stansted/Bishops Stortford area – own transport preferable but public transport from Harlow/Bishops Stortford is accessible (508 bus) Work Monday –Thursday 39.5 hours but lots of overtime at time and a half available too!

My Client an established and growing lighting manufacturer is seeking a hands–on Production Team Leader to oversee daily operations within a busy production environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast–paced setting, enjoys leading from the front, and can motivate a team to deliver high–quality output consistently.

Production Team Leader Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of production operators to meet daily targets. Ensure workflow is organised, efficient, and compliant with production schedules. Monitor quality standards and promote best practices across the team. Allocate tasks, manage breaks, and maintain accurate shift records. Facilitate smooth communication between production, engineering, and management teams. Train new staff and support ongoing development of existing team members. Maintain a safe working environment, carrying out checks and ensuring adherence to health & safety procedures. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency. Production Team Leader Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a Production Team Leader or Senior Operator role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and support a team. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and workflow optimisation. Good communication and problem–solving abilities. Able to work to targets and maintain quality under pressure.
