Production Supervisor
Location: Derby
Working Hours: 16.00 - 01.00 (40 hours), working Monday to Friday.
Salary up to GBP31,761 (dependent on experience)
Fairfax Meadow has been putting great meat on the menu for over 50 years. We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our Portion department, deliver outstanding product quality, maximise yield, reduce waste and develop a high-performing team. This is a hands-on role where your leadership will have a visible impact on operational results.
What you will be doing
Lead, motivate and develop the production teamDrive yield performance and minimise giveaway and wasteMonitor productivity, quality and performance throughout the shiftPromote strong food safety, hygiene and health and safety standardsOrganise people and resources to meet output and quality targetsIdentify and deliver continuous improvement opportunitiesWork closely with the Production Manager to achieve excellent resultsWhat we are looking for
Previous supervisory experience in food manufacturing or food productionExperience in chilled food production is highly advantageousStrong leadership, communication and organisational skillsA passion for quality, yield and continuous improvementA calm, structured approach with strong attention to detailMarel or TVI portioning equipment experience is beneficial; training can be providedFood Hygiene Level 3 and Health and Safety training are desirableAvailability to work Monday to Friday, 16:00-01:00
