Production Shift Supervisor Lates Location: Liverpool, L30

Salary: GBP42,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm 12:00am

Contract: Full time, 40 hours per week

Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays

Pension: 5% employee contribution / 3% employer contribution

We re working with a well–established and growing food manufacturing business in Liverpool who are looking to add an experienced Production Shift Supervisor to their late shift.

This is a hands–on leadership role where you ll take ownership of the production area throughout your shift, ensuring the team delivers against safety, quality, cost, waste and performance targets.

You ll work closely with the Production Manager, leading the team on the shop floor, planning labour and workflow, monitoring production levels and ensuring operational KPIs are achieved.

The Role You ll be responsible for:

Taking full ownership and accountability for the production area during your shift Driving Health & Safety, quality, performance and waste reduction Monitoring production levels from end to end to ensure business requirements are achieved Planning workflow and labour in line with production demand and budgets Managing, motivating and developing the production team Reviewing performance and identifying training and development requirements Driving operational KPIs and production efficiencies Leading change and supporting continuous improvement initiatives Communicating performance, downtime and operational issues to the Production Manager Managing return–to–work processes and supporting disciplinary procedures where required Acting as deputy for the Production Manager when required About You We re looking for someone with:

Previous production supervisory or production management experience Experience working within food manufacturing A strong understanding of Health & Safety and food safety standards Good knowledge of BRC and food safety compliance audits Experience managing people, performance and disciplinary processes A results–driven approach with the ability to work well under pressure Strong communication and influencing skills Experience working within a continuous improvement environment Good IT skills, with experience using Excel and other production or business systems An understanding of production scheduling and wider supply chain principles This is a great opportunity to join an established food manufacturing operation in a key leadership position, with responsibility for people, performance and the smooth running of the late production shift.
