Production Planner

Description

Handley James are working with one of our key clients who are a manufacturer of specialist products to source a Production Planner for their sites in Warrington. They are looking to recruit this individual to support the improvement programmes that are being driven through the site at this point in time.

This role will report to the Head of Operations and will be responsible for improving and sustaining an approach to planning that supports production.

Your main responsibilities will include:

* Take ownership of production planning throughout the business

* Ensure that plan is being achieved and maintained and address any adherence issues

* Manage bottlenecks and constraints

* Coordinate the priorities of Manufacturing with sub-contractors

* Ensure that consistent production planning processes are applied across the business

* Monitor the execution of current week’s plan, reacting to challenges & changes when required.

* Ensure operational information and metrics are available

Currently a Production Planner or Production Scheduler within a fast paced or multi process manufacturer, you will be experienced in driving improvements through the planning function. You will be open, honest, and transparent in terms of your core behaviours and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. xjnqpsq
