We're working with a growing manufacturing business based near Stowmarket that is seeking a Production Operative to join its friendly and hardworking team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stable Monday to Friday work with the chance to secure a permanent position.

The Role

As a Production Operative, you'll be involved in various stages of the manufacturing process, helping to ensure products are produced, packed and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and handling ingredients and raw materials

Supporting production activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Moving pallets and stock safely throughout the site

Packing finished products ready for dispatch

Loading, unloading and stacking products as required

Assisting with the operation of production machinery

Following food safety, hygiene and quality procedures

Working closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets We're looking for someone who:

Enjoys hands-on, physical work

Can work efficiently in a busy production environment

Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Is reliable, punctual and committed to high standards

Works well both independently and as part of a team

Has previous production, manufacturing, warehouse or food industry experience (preferred but not essential) Food Hygiene Level 2 and HACCP Level 2 qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
