Production Operative

Description

We are seeking reliable, safety-conscious Food Production Operatives with experience in machine operation to join a busy food manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who take pride in delivering high-quality products and maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards to gain a permanent role.

Shifts: Mon-Fri days & nights 6-6

Pay: £13.18-£15.25

Location: Deeside Industrial Estate

Key responsibilities:

- Operate, monitor and adjust production machinery to meet output and quality targets

- Set up machines and perform routine checks, cleaning and basic maintenance as required

- Follow production schedules and accurately complete production and quality records

- Adhere to food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times

- Identify and report faults or quality issues promptly and support continuous improvement activities

- Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with supervisors and colleagues

- Pack products into boxes, stacking and palletising as required

Essential skills and attributes:

- Proven experience in machine operation within a manufacturing or food production environment

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, procedures and checklists

- Willingness to undergo site-specific training and food hygiene courses

Desirable:

- Basic xjnqpsq understanding of food safety systems (e.g. HACCP) and GMPs

- Experience with basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance
