Production Operative

Description

The Company:

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Hetton area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.

The Role:

* Operate timber production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

* Assemble, finish, and quality-check timber and pallet products to customer specifications.

* Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, sorting, and stacking.

* Support routine maintenance and report equipment issues promptly.

* Work to production schedules and output targets, meeting deadlines without compromising safety or quality.

* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with company policies.

* Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting colleagues and supervisors as required

The Person:

* Previous experience in a manufacturing, timber, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential — full training provided.

* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

* Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.

* Physically fit and comfortable with manual, hands-on tasks. xjnqpsq

* Flexible and adaptable to shift work or changing priorities.

The Hours:

* Monday to Friday

* 06:20am to 14:30pm

* 14:20pm to 22:30pm

The Pay:

* £12.35 Per hour can increase
