Production Operatives Required – Night Shift

We're currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing site in Watton.

Job Role: Production Operative

Location: Watton

Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am

Pay Rate: 14.05 per hour

Shift Pattern: Night shifts

Employment: Ongoing, with the opportunity for a permanent position

The Role

Working as part of a busy production team, you'll help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the site.

Duties may include:

Setting up and maintaining production equipment

Maintaining changeover parts and spares when not in use

Carrying out basic preventative maintenance tasks with area ownership

Recording all downtime and repairs on downtime sheets, in conjunction with the maintenance team

Risk assessing duties as required

What We're Looking For

Previous production experience is beneficial, but full training will be provided. We're looking for people who are:

Reliable, punctual and task focused

Comfortable working night shifts and at pace

Able to work unsupervised

A good team player with a positive 'can–do' attitude

Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Thorough, with good attention to detail

Aware of the consequences of failing to complete duties

Knowledgeable in using basic hand tools

Trained in Basic Food Hygiene (external or equivalent in–house training)

Knowledgeable of H&S legislation, with a strong commitment to compliance and safe working practices

Very occasional weekend working may be required.

Overtime is paid at double time after completion of weekly contractual hours.
