Production Operative – Launceston

This role is ideal for someone with production or manufacturing experience and a safety–first approach, although training will be provided.

Role: Production Operative

Location: DS Smith Packaging, Hurdon Road, Launceston, PL15 9HN

Job Type: Full Time, Contractual

Pay: 16.41 per hour

Shifts: week day nights Monday–Thursday 10pm–6am and Friday 4pm–9pm

Start: ASAP (subject to interview and onboarding checks)

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery and equipment in a manufacturing/production environment

Follow Standard Safe Operating Procedures (SSOW) and UK Health and Safety legislation

Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on machinery

Essential Requirements:

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and SSOW Benefits:
