My client are currently looking to recruit a Production Manager (on a 4on 4off shift pattern) to join their site in North Lanarkshire. This commutable from Glasgow and all surrounding areas, West Lothian and Stirlingshire.

This position will take responsibility for managing daily production operations, leading teams, and ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance across production lines.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and develop a high–performing production team within a food manufacturing environmentPlan and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and business targetsMonitor and improve production KPIs (efficiency, waste, downtime, output)Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiativesManage labour, materials, and production resources effectivelyWork closely with Quality Assurance and Technical teams to maintain product standardsTroubleshoot and resolve production line issues to minimise downtime

Requirements:

Experience as a Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager / Operations ManagerMinimum 2 years of experience in production managementBackground in food manufacturing / FMCG environment Experience managing teams in a high–volume production environmentShift pattern:

4 on 4 off shift pattern; 05:30 – 18:00; 10:30 – 23:00
