We're looking for a proactive and organised Production Manager who can lead from the front, inspire a team, and ensure production runs smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule.

The Role

As Production Manager, you'll take responsibility for organising and running production processes and facilities, ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and to the highest standards. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll oversee production operatives and play a key role in maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and manage workshop throughput to meet delivery schedulesCommunicate delays or issues proactively to customer servicesLead, review, and develop production operatives through regular performance managementManage purchasing and storage of workshop consumablesOversee the T&E process, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on timeEnsure all Health & Safety regulations and standards are consistently met

About You

You're a confident leader with a strong background in manufacturing or workshop environments. You know how to get the best out of people while maintaining high standards and staying calm under pressure.

You will bring:

Proven experience leading teamsA qualification in manufacturing, assembly, or prefabricationAt least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing/workshop settingStrong understanding of Health & Safety responsibilitiesExperience with IT systems for job planning and stock controlExcellent organisation, planning, and communication skillsThe ability to coach, train, and develop othersA proactive, flexible, and detail-oriented approachBenefits
