Job Title: Process Support Operative

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Henlow

Salary: GBP26,000 + (DOE)

Hours: Mon – Fri, 6am–2pm & 2pm–10pm (Rotational)

Our well known client based in Henlow are looking for a Process Support Operative to join their fast growing team, on a Permanent basis. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, keen to learn, and have strong ability to work on their feet in a fast paced environment.

In this diverse role, you will be responsible for supporting production, from operating machinery, to assisting with goods in/out and forklift driving.

Main responsibilities for a Process Support Operative are:

– To slit the liner and maintain stock records and operate the liner machine

– To cut, bag, and tape bespoke product lengths as per schedule

– To operate the mould cutting machine and cut moulds as per schedule

– Perform random QC checks

– Utilising in–house computer system (training provided)

– Assisting with goods in/out

– Operating forklift truck

– To prioritise daily workload as to the manufacturing schedule

– Maintain good level of housekeeping

Key skills as a Process Support Operative:

– Ability to work with enthusiasm and care

– Keen eye for detail

– Reliable and self motivated

– Team work is essential

– Good level of fitness as heavy lifting is involved

– Forklift licence advantageous

– Engineering background advantageous but not essential
