Panel Wirer

Description

I’m looking to appoint a Panel wirer for a large global manufacturing organisation based in West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with a strong electrical background to work on high-quality control panels in a structured workshop environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Wiring and assembling electrical control panels to specification

Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings

Installing components such as relays, contactors, PLCs, terminal blocks, and power supplies

Carrying out point-to-point wiring, trunking, and looming to a high standard

Testing and fault-finding completed panels prior to dispatch

Working to electrical and safety standards at all times

Collaborating with engineers and production staff to meet build schedules

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or Electrical Assembler

Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (essential)

Good knowledge xjnqpsq of electrical components and panel layouts

High attention to detail and quality of workmanship

Ability to work independently from drawings and instructions

Relevant electrical qualifications or apprenticeship (desirable but not essential)
