Location: PQ Silicas – Warrington Site

Salary: 5 Crew – 38,278.92 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Temporary 3 moths (via agency)

Contract Start Date: ASAP

Contract End Date: TBC

The role:

To safely carry out the duties of a chemical plant packer across multiple areas of the plant. Working on a variable shift pattern as part of a team.

Key Accountabilities:

Preparation and set–up of the packing system in line with standard instructions. Ensuring all packaging, equipment, labelling and raw materials are available for the specific planned product and tonnage.Working closely under the guidance of the Microniser Operator to meet set KPI'sAdherence to packing guidelines for sampling, pack presentation, labelling, weight control, addition of additives, reworking and adhering to good manufacturing practice.Active involvement complying with safety, environmental and Company standards, including auditing, reporting, team improvement activities and housekeeping in multiple areas.Communicate both verbally and in written format, in a timely fashion. Including completion of batch documentation, handover, assisting others to improve knowledge and understandingCleandown of process equipment and packing areas, maintaining GMP standards.Experience, Skills and Qualifications (Preferable but not essential)

Relevant Industrial experienceManual Handling skillsExperience of 24 hour continuous shift workingUnits and elements of C&G PT2 Process Plant Operations or NVQ level 1Current FLT – powered hand truck licenseSpecial Features

Process Packers will carry out any task they have been deemed competent to do, provided that such activity can be completed safely.
