Packing Operative

Description

Staffline is recruiting for a Packing Operative to work for our client, at their cheese production warehouse, near Chard, Somerset.

This is a temporary role until the end of December.

Full and part time shifts are available.

The rate of pay is:

Monday to Friday: GBP12.70 per hour.

Saturday: GBP15.86 per hour.

Sunday and overtime: GBP19.05.

A GBP150 Amazon voucher will be given to workers with 100% attendance during peak weeks & a double overtime rate will apply on 4 specific weeks in November – December.

The hours of work available are:

06:00 to 14:00.

06:00 to 16:00.

08:00 to 18:00.

14:00 to 22:00.

Your Time at Work

As a Packing Operative, your time at work will include:

– Working in a fairly cool environment

– Cutting, wrapping, and boxing cheeses

– Carrying out general cleaning duties

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect Packing Operative would be comfortable standing for long periods and able to carry out manual handling duties such as bending and lifting.

It would be a benefit to have good communication skills, whilst being able to understand and follow instructions.
