Shifts: Days, Lates, Nights & Weekends

Safran Landing Systems are a global leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, from commercial and business travel to military and defence fleets.

Our expertise covers the entire life cycle of our products from end–to–end; Design, Engineering & Manufacturing, through to Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO).

Your role:

Bring your technical skills and precision to a role where quality and craftsmanship matter. You'll work on complex assemblies, interpreting engineering drawings and applying your expertise to deliver components that meet exacting standards. In a collaborative environment, you'll contribute to continuous improvement and help shape the future of aerospace manufacturing.

Key responsibilities:

Assemble components and complete production acceptance testing to strict specificationsInterpret and work from technical drawings, specifications, and test instructionsApply 5S principles and continuous improvement practices to maintain high standardsPerform turning and grinding operations, and design or make tooling when requiredEnsure compliance with FOD and COSHH requirements throughout all activities

What you'll bring:

(ESSENTIAL): NVQ Level 3 and completion of an advanced apprenticeshipAerospace or Automotive mechanical experienceStrong understanding of specifications, procedures, and quality standardsAbility to work flexibly and contribute to improvement initiativesSkilled in assembly techniques, with experience in turning and grinding; electrical knowledge is a plusAttention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
