NPD Development Technologist – Food

You'll support the full product lifecycle–from concept to launch–while working closely with internal teams and external customers to deliver high–quality, commercially viable food products.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the NPD team in keeping products on critical path timelines.Collaborate across departments and with external customers to ensure alignment.Implement and maintain product development documentation and processes.Write cooking and reheating instructions, and complete product attribute documentation.Conduct organoleptic and shelf–life testing to validate product performance.Participate in taste panels, benchmarking sessions, and product quality reviews.Prepare samples for presentations and manage air freight logistics.Maintain a clean, well–stocked development kitchen and manage raw material orders.Ensure timely completion of reports and administrative tasks.

What We're Looking For:

Degree in Food Science or related field.1–2 years' experience in an NPD role.Genuine interest in food trends and product innovation.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills.Numerically competent with solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.Proactive, hands–on approach and ability to work independently.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (UK and internationally).
