Adecco Workington are recruiting for a Metal Preparation Operative to join a well–established business in Carlisle on a permanent basis.

This is a hands–on role working as part of a busy production team, preparing and finishing metal components to a high standard. The role would suit someone who is practical, reliable, safety–conscious and looking for a long–term opportunity with training and development available.

The role will involve:

Preparing, cleaning and deburring componentsOperating machinery and equipment, with full training providedUsing tools and equipment such as drills, saws and tapping machinesWorking accurately to ensure parts are completed to the required standardFollowing health and safety procedures at all timesSupporting the wider team with day–to–day production dutiesWe are looking for someone with:

Previous experience in a hands–on, production, workshop, engineering, metalwork or warehouse environmentA good attitude and willingness to learnStrong attention to detailA safety–first approachFLT licence would be an advantage, but is not essentialReliability and a strong work ethicWhat's on offer:
