Monday - Friday (7:00 - 16:00)

Due to growth, a manufacturing business based in Oldham is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. You'll join an established team, supporting a 24/7 operation on the day shift. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of equipment such as balers, rollers, shredders, granulators, presses, extruders and various other equipment. You'll be following a PPM schedule as well as responding to breakdowns when needed. As well as these duties, you'll be responsible for monitoring the spare parts inventory and working with the procurement team to ensure spares are kept stocked effectively.

Key Requirements

Previous work experience as a mechanically biased maintenance engineer

Knowledge of various manufacturing equipment

Mechanical qualifications / apprenticeships are advantageous

Good understanding of health and safety regulations
