Medway GBP38,000 – GBP40,000 DOE Mon Fri 7am 4 Early Finish Fridays (11.30 ) Are you a hands–on Engineer looking to take the next step into leadership?

We re looking for a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor to lead a key manufacturing department within a respected and long–standing local business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid engineering background who enjoys problem–solving, team leadership, and taking ownership on the shop floor.

What you ll be doing:

Running and organising the day–to–day operations of a department of this busy production facility

Supporting fault finding and tool changes on mechanical machinery

Liaising with production teams and the Factory Manager to meet daily and weekly targets

Training and mentoring operatives to ensure flexibility across the team

Supporting Gemba walks and continuous improvement activity

Collaborating with Toolroom and Maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance

What you ll need:

Engineering qualifications HNC, apprenticeship or similar mechanical/production background Hands–on experience in a mechanical or manufacturing setting Strong organisational and communication skills A proactive approach to problem–solving and people management Experience working with mechanical tools, jigs and fixtures preferred What s in it for you?
