This is a permanent, full–time opportunity based in the beautiful area of Prestwick, Ayrshire. We provide full, comprehensive relocation support to ensure your move is as smooth and stress–free as possible.

– Location: Prestwick, Ayr (Scotland

– Salary: up to GBP38,736 per hour

– Role type: Permanent – RTW in the UK required

– Shifts: Day Shift: Monday to Friday 7am – 3:15pm Backshift 3:00pm – 1:15am

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Assembly Operators to join our team in Prestwick (Ayrshire). This role involves fitting out large electro–mechanical assemblies and working on a rotational day/back shift schedule. You will play a key role in assembling, inspecting, and maintaining mechanical components to ensure high–quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

– Accurately fit, align, and secure mechanical components and sub–assemblies using hand and power tools

– Inspect and repair mechanical components in line with company standards

– Maintain detailed records and perform quality checks on completed work

– Work independently and collaboratively with strong attention to detail

– Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

– Represent the company professionally at all times

– Carry out any other duties as required, aligned with your skills and experience

Requirements:

– Minimum 3 years of mechanical assembly experience

– Strong knowledge of tools and techniques used in mechanical fitting

– Ability to read and interpret work instructions and perform fault finding

– A safety–first mindset and effective communication skills
