Description

Manufacturing Technician (B-shift)

Location: Cramlington

Shifts: 6am to 6pm - 4 days on, 4 days off

Pay Rate: £13.46 + 20% shift allowance

Part of the BioProduction (BPD) Division, the team in Cramlington produce our range of Single-Use Technologies (SUT) which are typically used by biopharma companies around the world for drug development. We produce more than 3,000 products for our growing customer base and have been producing these products at Cramlington since 1997.

Chamber manufacturing operates in strict clean room conditions, so full clean room gowning will be worn.

Role:

To Follow Company Standard Operating Procedures to align with cGMP and ISO Quality Standards

· Build and inspect products in line with specifications and product drawings

· Work in a clean room environment.

· Operation of the production machinery to ensure maximum efficiency, minimum downtime and material waste

· Take responsibility for individual product quality and efficiency.

· Complete relevant paperwork in accordance with procedures.

· Control and co-ordinate movement of Chambers raw materials.

· Ensure clean room conditions and 7S standards are maintained.

· Ensure the product meets all aspects of the customer specification and is produced to the highest possible quality standard

The person:

· Able to follow standard works, procedures, drawings and adhere to timeframes.

· Work as part of a team.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Understanding of cGMP and experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

· Experience operating machinery, ideally in a clean room.
