We're working with our client in the food and beverage industry to hire a proactive Manufacturing Support Engineer to help maximise equipment reliability, drive continuous improvement, and support the efficient operation of a busy manufacturing facility.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining and improving manufacturing equipment to maximise uptime and performanceDelivering planned and preventative maintenance activities across site operationsDiagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs to minimise downtimeDriving production efficiency, OEE improvements and continuous improvement initiativesSupporting production teams to achieve operational KPIs and daily targetsManaging spare parts, stock control and engineering housekeeping standardsEnsuring all maintenance activities comply with health & safety and manufacturing standardsContributing to projects focused on improving productivity, reliability and cost performance What we're looking for

Engineering qualification such as HNC, HND or equivalentApprenticeship–trained engineer or equivalent industry experienceStrong fault–finding and problem–solving skillsExperience within a manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging or process environmentKnowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics and automated machineryFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S or similar continuous improvement methodologiesA hands–on, proactive approach with a strong focus on safety and operational excellenceFlexibility to support business needs, including shift or additional hours when required Why apply?
