Duration: 3 months (potential for extension)

Salary: 13.79 % shift allowance

We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Operator I to join a leading manufacturing facility in Paisley. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are reliable, motivated and keen to learn, with full training provided from day one.

No previous manufacturing experience is required, making this role ideal for school leavers, career changers and candidates looking to gain valuable experience within a highly regulated production environment.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Operator you will play an important role in supporting day–to–day manufacturing operations, helping to ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you will gain experience across different production areas and contribute to the efficient delivery of manufacturing activities.

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a rotating three–week shift pattern:

Week 1: Early Shift – 6:00am to 2:00pmWeek 2: Night Shift – 10:00pm to 6:00amWeek 3: Back Shift – 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Key Responsibilities

Support manufacturing activities in line with daily production requirementsOperate equipment safely and in accordance with standard proceduresFollow all quality, safety and compliance requirementsContribute to achieving production schedules and performance targetsMaintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisationWork effectively with supervisors, team leaders and colleaguesCommunicate with internal departments regarding quality and service–related mattersParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives

Skills and Experience

Working Environment

This position is based within a manufacturing environment and may involve:

Working in graded and non–graded production areasAdhering to specific gowning requirementsStanding for extended periodsManual handling and repetitive tasksWorking safely with chemicals and hazardous materialsRotating shifts, including nights
