Tarporley
GBP55,000 to GBP65,000 DOE + Benefits Package
Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30
Manufacturing Manager required for a growing manufacturing company based near Tarporley. This is a great opportunity to join a market leading company in an integral role as they continue to grow.
This role would suit an experienced manager with experience working within a manufacturing background. You will need an engineering background including experience with mechanical assembly, basic fabrication, welding and basic electrical wiring.
Overseeing a small workshop team, the Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for planning production activities and keeping the team motivated. This is a largely hands–on role, and you will support the team build and assembly equipment. It will be your responsibility to ensure production and quality targets are reached.
The Manufacturing Manager Role:
Overseeing and motivating a workshop team 5–8 people
Hands on focus mechanical assembly, alignment, electrical wiring
Planning and prioritising daily and weekly production scheduled
Conduct performance reviews
Continuous improvements 5S, waste reduction, development of SOPs etc.
Oversee quality and compliance including carrying out inspections and managing any non–conformances
Ensure compliance with H&S
The Manufacturing Manager Candidate:
Experience in a managerial role
Manufacturing background
Experience with mechanical fitting, welding, basic fabrication, basic wiring
Experience with ISO9001 or other qc standards
Able to read engineering drawings and schematics
