Romsey, Hampshire 17.00 – 20.00p/h Day Shift Monday to Friday Temporary Position Immediate Start Available
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Manual Lathe Turner to join a well–established engineering and manufacturing company based in Romsey.
This is a hands–on role suited to a skilled machinist who is confident operating conventional manual lathes and producing precision–engineered components to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating manual/conventional centre lathes. Manufacturing components from engineering drawings. Working to tight tolerances and quality standards. Measuring and inspecting finished parts using a range of inspection equipment. Maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience operating manual lathes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Competent using measuring equipment including micrometers and verniers. Strong attention to detail and quality. Reliable and able to work independently.
