Referral programmeAbout the RoleWe are a busy and growing manufacturing business looking for a reliable General Maintenance Operative to support the upkeep and smooth running of our site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a practical mindset and strong mechanical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine maintenance and mechanical repairs across the facility
Perform regular inspections on machinery, equipment, and building infrastructure
Support upkeep of production areas, including minor mechanical adjustments and repairs
Assist with moving and installing equipment and materials
Identify faults and escalate more complex mechanical issues to the relevant teams
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site standardsAbout You
Mechanically minded with a hands-on approach
Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment (preferred)
Basic understanding of mechanical systems and equipment maintenance
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently xjnqpsq or as part of a team
