We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join an established and growing engineering business. This is a days-only role with no shift work, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical background who is looking to develop their career further.

The position would suit someone who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty, enjoys problem solving, and is keen to work with industrial machinery in a practical environment. Full training will be provided on the specialist equipment, making this a great step for someone looking to broaden their skillset and become a fully-fledged Maintenance Engineer.

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

* £30,000 - £35,000

* OT at premium rates or time off in lieu.

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

* Days Only.

* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.

* Diagnosing mechanical faults and carry out repairs.

* Supporting wider engineering teams.

* Assisting with installations, upgrades and improvements.

* Maintaining a safe working environment.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:

* Mechanically minded.

* Hands-on approach and willingness to work.

* Proactive and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty.

* Maintenance Weld (Mig or Stick).

* City & Guilds Qualifications Advantages.

* Bearings, pulleys, belts, shafts experience.
