We are seeking a skilled Machinist to be a vital part of our Engineering Shop at their Corby site. Their strength lies not only in the products, but also in the diverse talents of their workforce. What You Will Do:

As a Machinist, you will be responsible for producing and repairing one-off and small-batch components essential to their manufacturing operations. Your tasks will include:

Machining parts to tight tolerances using lathes, milling machines, and various workshop tools.

Working from engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.

Collaborating with a supportive, safety-focused team during 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, following a rotating pattern of days, backs, and nights.What You Will Need:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

A time-served apprenticeship or proven competence through experience.

An NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent.

Experience operating manual lathes, milling machines, and general workshop tools.

A valid driving licence and a good understanding of safe systems of work.Preferred Qualifications:

While we welcome candidates with limited experience, those with the following will have an advantage:

Experience with CNC machines, including setting and programming.

A safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH.We value potential and willingness to develop, and for candidates with limited experience, an extended probation period may be considered to build up necessary skills.
