Job title: Machine/Production Operative

Location: Ashford

Salary: £28,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Our client:

Is a fast-growing business currently seeking an experienced Production / Machine Operator to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role:

You will be responsible for completing production orders efficiently and accurately by following job sheets and ensuring all required production paperwork is completed to a high standard.

Company pensionKey responsibilities would be:

Preparing materials according to job orders ahead of production runs

Setting up production machinery in accordance with job specifications

Operating, feeding and troubleshooting machinery

Carrying out quality checks before, during and after production

Polishing finished products where required

Completing relevant production paperwork accurately

Cleaning down machinery and work areas following each production runExperience and skills required:

Experience as a Machine Operator within a food, manufacturing or FMCG environment

High levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail

Good spoken and written English and Mathematics skills

Ability to read, understand and follow detailed instructions
