Machine Operator – Stone, Staffordshire

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join a busy and well-established printing company based in Stone, Staffordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills within the printing and manufacturing industry. Previous machine operating or production experience would be advantageous; however, full training can be provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring printing and production machinery, ensuring products are manufactured to a high standard while meeting daily production targets.

Key Responsibilities

Operating and monitoring printing and production machinery.

*

Setting up and preparing machines for production runs, following training.

*

Loading materials into machinery and removing finished products.

*

Checking printed products for quality, accuracy and defects.

*

Ensuring machinery runs efficiently and reporting any faults or issues.

*

Carrying out basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance where trained.

*

Working efficiently to meet daily production targets.

*

Following all health and safety procedures.

*

Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.

*

Supporting other areas of production when required.

Requirements

*

Previous experience in machine operating, printing or manufacturing would be advantageous but is not essential.

*

Full training can be provided.

A willingness to learn new skills and operate production machinery.

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced production environment.

Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
