Machine Operator / CNC Operator – Heywood

£30,000 - £33,000 per annum + Bonus Scheme + Career Progression

Aspired Talent are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic, people-focused manufacturing business in Heywood looking to add a Machine Operator with some CNC experience to their growing team.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm or 7:00am – 4:00pm

Early finish every Friday

The Role:

You will be responsible for operating an Accord CNC Machining Centre, with a primary focus on producing solid elements to specification and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating and monitoring CNC machinery

Producing high-quality components from technical drawings

Loading and unloading workpieces safely and efficiently

Understanding and selecting appropriate tooling

Assisting with CNC programming and machine setup

Maintaining quality standards and production targets

Following all health and safety procedures

Skills & Experience Required:

Previous machine operating experience

Some CNC machining experience is essential

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints

Understanding of CNC programming principles

Knowledge of tooling, cutting speeds and feeds

Strong attention to detail

Commitment to safe working practices

Training & Development:

Full training can be provided for the right candidate; however, applicants must have some previous experience in CNC machining, blueprint reading, programming, tooling, xjnqpsq or machine operation.
