Temp to Perm Opportunity Food Production 13.36 + 1.50ph shift allowance Day Shift Own transport required

We are recruiting on behalf of a well–established food manufacturing business in Earls Colne. This is a temp–to–perm opportunity, offering long–term stability for reliable candidates who perform well.

This role is ideal for someone with production or machine operating experience who is confident working in a fast–paced, quality–driven manufacturing environment.

You will support line set–up, monitor performance, and help minimise downtime by identifying and reporting issues quickly.

Key Duties of the Machine Operator

Operate packing and production machinery in line with work instructionsAssist with basic machine set–ups and adjustments where requiredEnsure correct packaging materials and coding information are usedMonitor line performance and highlight issues promptlySupport with minor fault finding and escalate breakdowns as neededCheck materials before and during use to ensure quality standards are metEnsure finished goods meet required standards before dispatchAccurately complete production and quality paperworkWork across different areas of the packing line when requiredMaintain good housekeeping and hygiene standardsQuality, Safety & Compliance

You will be working in a regulated food production environment and must:

Follow HACCP, GMP and food safety procedures at all timesComply with all company Health & Safety policiesReport accidents, incidents and near misses immediatelyAdhere to quality and legal production requirementsTake part in training and support safe working practicesWhat We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operative, or Line OperatorFMCG / Manufacturing and production experience is advantageousGood attention to detail and quality standardsMechanical awareness and confidence working with machineryAbility to work as part of a team in a busy environmentFlexible approach to shifts and working hoursPay and Hours
