Machine Operator - Bangor

Job Responsibilities

Operate large-scale industrial machinery in accordance with defined instructions and operating procedures.

Follow production schedules diligently, working effectively within a small team or crew.

Set up machines, load raw materials, and manually operate equipment to produce adhesive coated tapes.

Unload finished products from machines, ensuring quality standards are met.

Work from written or verbal instructions, applying judgement and selectivity as needed.

Monitor and control product quality throughout the production process.

Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.

Accurately perform basic data entry and utilise computer systems for production tracking.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and report any issues or problems promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence with experience operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Proven experience working with large-scale industrial machinery and production equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.

Good organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.

Reliable with excellent time-keeping and attendance record.

Flexible attitude to shift patterns, including converting shifts (days and evenings, Monday to Friday).

Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required. xjnqpsq

Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
