Line Setter/Machine Operative
Location: Southport
Pay: £13.21 - Increasing to £14.81 after 12 weeks
Shifts: 06:00-18:00
Days: 6 days on, 7 days off
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Line Setter to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude. This role involves setting up and operating machinery, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. The Line Setter will play a crucial part in maintaining quality standards and contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
* Set up, adjust, and operate machinery according to specifications.
* Perform assembly tasks as required, ensuring precision and quality in all work.
* Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and perform basic repairs when necessary.
Qualifications
* Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
* Experience within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
* Previous assembly experience is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with warehouse operations is an advantage.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
