General Labourer / Assembly Operative

Wellingborough

£12.75 per hour

Mon-Fri, 07:00-16:30 (45 hours per week)

Immediate Start | Temporary to Permanent | On-site Parking

The Opportunity

We're looking for a practical, hands-on individual to join a well-established manufacturing and assembly company based in Wellingborough. If your reliable, have experience using hand tools and you're confident with manual work this could be a great fit for you.

You'll be part of a friendly and hardworking production team, reporting to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Assembling wooden components using hand tools and glue guns.

Interpreting and working from technical drawings and diagrams.

Measuring, marking, and cutting materials accurately (basic maths required).

Manual handling of large and heavy materials.

Operating safely within a busy workshop or assembly environment.

Working closely with colleagues to meet production deadlines.

General warehouse and labouring tasks as required.

What We're Looking For

Comfortable with physical work and heavy lifting.

Able to use hand tools and follow visual instructions or measurements.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Health & Safety conscious.
