Location: Milton Keynes

Hours: Monday Friday on Weekly Rotating Shifts (6am 2pm / 2pm 10pm)

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well–established, internationally recognised business operating within the labels and packaging sector.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a Labels Print Finisher to join their production team in Milton Keynes.

This position would suit an experienced machine operator from a print, labels or packaging who enjoys a hands–on role within a busy production environment.

The Role

Working on a rotating double–day shift pattern, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining coating and rewinding machinery, ensuring products are finished to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Setting up and operating coating and rewinding machineryMonitoring production runs and adjusting machine settings where requiredInspecting finished rolls, checking dimensions, and identifying defectsCarrying out basic maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshootingRecording production information and completing quality checksLoading and unloading materials as requiredWorking closely with the production team to meet output targetsMaintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience within the flexible packaging or labels industry, who have worked on slitting, rewinding / coating machinery.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience as a slitter/rewinder/coaterGood mechanical understanding and practical problem–solving skillsStrong attention to detail and qualityConfidence carrying out basic machine adjustments and fault findingA reliable, proactive, and hands–on approachThe flexibility to work rotating early and late shiftsSalary & Benefits
