Thrive Personnel Services are looking to recruit a Junior Project Manager for our client based in Bradford.

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive hard working Junior Project Manager with excellent communication skills and a commitment to professional growth. The ideal candidate should be willing to cover projects nationally.

As a Junior Project Manager, you will support the Managing Director and fellow Project Managers by overseeing site operations, leading staff, and ensuring high-quality standards through regular inspections and best practices. You will manage costs effectively, foster strong client relationships, and contribute to the company’s reputation and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate site progress, labour needs, and resource planning with Head Office.

Oversee daily operations, resolve issues, and motivate the team to meet deadlines.

Enforce Health & Safety compliance, address concerns, and maintain high standards.

Conduct risk assessments, maintain accurate records, and manage future claims readiness.

Supervise subcontractors, materials, and tasks with proper documentation and adherence to methods.

Maintain a clean, professional site in line with company standards.

Assist/attend site meetings, provide updates, and collaborate with teams for smooth operations.

Communicate with clients and subcontractors, ensuring Managing Director approval for work.

Perform additional duties to support project completion.

Identify staff training needs and communicate plans to management.

Experience and Qualifications

Experience: At least 2 years as a Trainee/Junior Project Manager in fit outs and refurbishment projects, preferably with a trades background.

Qualifications: Gold CSCS Card / SMSTS Certificate, C&G or NVQ Level 3 in a trade, Risk Assessment Training, First Aid Certificate. xjnqpsq

Knowledge: Health & Safety programs and Risk Assessments.

Licence: Full UK Driver’s Licence
