Are you a graduate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics looking to develop your career in a hands–on technical role? Do you have strong mathematical skills, a problem–solving mindset and a desire to learn?

The company has almost 30 years of experience producing specialist fibre optic connectivity products and has recently been acquired by a FTSE 250–listed international group. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a motivated Junior Technical Development Engineer to join their team.

You will work closely with experienced engineers and the Managing Director, receiving training across product development, testing, CAD and technical problem–solving, with increasing responsibility as your skills develop.

This role would suit a technically minded graduate or junior engineer with 1–5 years of experience, although recent graduates with strong technical aptitude will also be considered.

The Role:

Hands–on training across product development, testing and engineering

Technical problem–solving, diagnostics and data analysis

CAD work and technical documentation

Working closely with experienced engineers, with long–term progression opportunities

The Person:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics (essential)

Ideally 1–5 years of experience, although graduates considered

Strong maths skills, technically minded and a natural problem solver

Basic CAD skills and a willingness to learn

Commutable to Swindon with a full UK driving licence
