Pay Rate: 13.35 per hour

What you'll be doing

Working within an exciting and fast paced environment, you will be a key member of our technical team and will ensure the service we provide to our customer is of exceptional quality. The role can be physically demanding with a good amount of pushing, pulling and lifting involved.

Task will involve:

Carry out day to day laundry activities in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrityReview equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnelEnsure that chemicals are used and stored correctlyRole involved cleaning wellingtonsEnsure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the correct personnelFollow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Senior OperatorPromote a good health, safety and environmental culture within the departmentIdentify and highlight any opportunities that make sustainable improvements to increase quality, performance in support of the overall shift planFlexibility to cover all other areas where needed.

What we're looking for

Full training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience:

A good standard of education; demonstrates good literacy and numerical skills, able to understand, communicate and report clearly in English.Attention to detailHigh level of accuracyTeam playerComfortable working in a chilled environment, standing for long periods of time, lifting and carrying and cleaningBasic understanding of Health & Safety and Food HygieneAbility to work unsupervisedGood problem–solving skills
