HGV2 Driver

Description

Primary objective of this position: To deliver goods across the UK from our Leeds site

Monday- Friday 40 hrs per week

Key responsibilities and performance measures for this role:

· Check load prior to route, ensuring that you have the necessary paperwork for your load.

· Occasionally assist in unloading at delivery sites.

· Ensure all deliveries are signed for and paperwork is complete.

· To communicate any problems with the Transport Manager and / or customer.

· To be flexible in your approach of overtime requirements to satisfy customer

requirements.

· Ensure that your vehicle is well maintained and defects are reported immediately.

· Assist in warehouse duties as and when required when on site

· Ensure that you understand and comply with Health and Safety at Work and Road safety

regulations at all times.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience required:

· Must hold HGV 2 License

· Must have 2 years + previous experience of multi-drop deliveries

· Must possess good organisational skills in terms of delivery paperwork

Additional skill requirements:

· Must be physically fit as some lifting will be required

· FLT License beneficial but not essential
