Based in Aylesbury, you will be joining a fast–paced manufacturing business, who, due to continued growth, are seeking a Health & Safety officer to join their production and facilities team!The Health & Safety officer will work with the team to help develop the company's health, safety and environmental standards and maintain Iso standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Develop, implement, and maintain EH&S policies, procedures, and systems in line with UK legislation and industry best practices. Monitor and report on EH&S performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring timely and accurate management reporting. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections across the site to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring lessons learnt are communicated and embedded. Coordinate EH&S training and awareness programmes for all staff, including induction and refresher sessions. This is a summed–up list, and other responsibilities and duties will be required.

Skills & Experience required:

Experience in a similar role, within a fast past manufacturing or engineering environmentNEBHOSH General certificateStrong knowledge of UK EH&S legislation and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001). Ability to work in a team environment, or aloneGood management and prioritisation of incoming demands.
