We are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading industrial processing organisation at their site in Maidstone. Working within an established UK SHEQ structure, you will support operational teams, ensure compliance with legislation, and help maintain a strong, positive safety culture across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Champion the delivery of Group Health & Safety standards, empowering site teams to work safely and confidently.Lead meaningful risk assessments that drive practical, effective safety improvements across operations.Take ownership of incident and near–miss investigations, helping the site learn, adapt, and continuously improve.Carry out proactive inspections and audits, identifying opportunities to enhance safety performance and culture.Act as a trusted advisor to managers and supervisors, providing clear guidance that shapes safe, compliant working practices.

About You:

Experience in Health & Safety within manufacturing, waste, construction, logistics, industrial processing, or similar high–risk environments.Minimum of 2 years experience in a Health & Safety role.NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) essential; IOSH membership desirable.Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practice.Effective communicator with the ability to influence and support at all levels.
