Job Title: Health & Safety Manager

Location: Newport, Gwent

Salary: GBP40,000 to GBP45,000

Hours: 40 hours per week Shifts between Monday to Friday 08.00 to 19.00

We're seeking an experienced and highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate, support, and advise the business on all Health and Safety matters. You'll be responsible for establishing, managing, and monitoring standards, processes, communication, training, and systems to ensure full compliance with Health and Safety requirements across Storage Giant.

As a Health & Safety Manager, you'll be responsible for:

Developing and implementing safety policies and proceduresConducting regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessmentsProviding comprehensive safety training to employeesInvestigating and reporting incidents and accidentsCollaborating with department heads to maintain a secure working environment What We're Looking For:

We're seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager with:

Minimum 3 years of recent and relevant experience in health and safety managementNEBOSH (General Certificate) qualified or equivalent accreditation (Required)NEBOSH National Fire Certificate Fire Safety & Fire Safety Management (Desirable)COSHH TrainedExperience in implementing and monitoring Fire Risk AssessmentsProven expertise in advising managers/supervisors, handling H&S investigations, and delivering trainingStrong knowledge of formulating, implementing, and revising H&S policies and proceduresUp-to-date understanding of Health and Safety laws and regulations
