Description

Health & Safety Services Project Co-ordinator, University Campus based in Kent, temporary, 3 days per week until the end of July 2026 with a possible extension, GBP17.60 per hour plus holiday pay, hybrid (minimum 1 day per week office based)

Renowned University, requires a part time Health & Safety Services Project Co-ordinator.This role is 3 days per week until the end of July, hybrid working and you will be required to work in the office at least 1 day per week. They have a number of Health and Safety projects at the campus and you will be an organised team member keeping everyone on track. You will be a strong Administrator pulling together the action plan, KPIs and deadlines. Health and Safety experience is not essential for this role but it would suit you if you are a first class Administrator with a project focused approach.

Duties of the Health & Safety Services Administrator will include

Providing administrative support in the delivery of health and safety projects including minute taking, action tracking and collation of papers for meetingsDrafting internal and external correspondenceLiaising with contractors and university staff as necessary to arrange provision of project costsContribute to cross-functional team working across the Directorate and UniversityResponding to enquiriesHelping to Co-ordinate the implementation of new health and safety softwareEstablishing, maintaining, and monitoring project trackers, dashboards and status reports ensuring clear visibility of progressCoordinating project documentation including risk registers, issue logs, action logs and project plansMonitoring performance of consultants and software providers to meet the University's requirements and provide reports on action required Adhering to legal requirements and best practice relating to digital content and accessibility Skills and experience

Administration experience within a complex environmentCustomer focussedConsistent ability to meet tight deadlines and to manage own workload Diary Management and meetings coordinatingAccurate data input and team workIf you have an understanding of the work of Health & Safety and/or Estates & Facilities professionals that would be useful as would experience of working as part of a project management team. APM, Prince II, PMI or similar would be useful but not essential.
