We re working with a long–established and forward–thinking large format print manufacturer who are seeking an experienced Head of Production Operations to take the reins of their busy print facility.

This is a newly created position within the business following an internal restructure designed to strengthen operational efficiency and bring clear direction across production and supporting departments.

The Role

You ll lead day–to–day production and logistics operations, overseeing multiple shifts and a sizeable team responsible for delivering high–quality large format graphics and display work.

With a strong focus on workflow, process and structure, this role will suit someone who thrives on bringing organisation and calm to a fast–paced, high–output environment. You ll act as the operational bridge between production and the wider business, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of large format print production, finishing and logistics operations Drive efficiency through improved workflow, scheduling and resource management Lead and develop department managers and shift leads across day and night teams Maintain high quality standards while meeting demanding client deadlines Champion Health & Safety and promote a culture of continuous improvement Use production data and workflow systems to track performance and deliver measurable results Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and project delivery What We re Looking For

Proven experience in a senior production or operational leadership role within a large format print print environment Deep understanding of large format print processes, materials and finishing techniques A strong operational mindset someone who can bring structure, consistency and accountability to a busy floor Confident, people–focused leader with a calm, solution–driven approach Commercially aware and able to balance the bigger picture with day–to–day operations This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact shaping process, structure and culture within a respected print manufacturer that values collaboration, innovation and quality.
