Goods-In Operative with Forklift Licences

Location: Gatwick

Salary: £33,000 - £34,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:00 or 08:00-18:00 (depending on business needs)

Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting a Goods-In Operative for our prestigious client based outsde Gatwick Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and well-established logistics operation with great company benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Checking incoming stock against purchase orders

Accurate receipting of purchase orders (attention to detail is essential)

Putting stock away and rotating stock correctly

Working with racking systems (previous experience required)

Using handheld scanners to process and manage stock (experience desirable; training provided)

Operating forklift trucks to put stock away and load vehicles for deliveries

Consolidating stock efficiently

Carrying out general warehouse duties and maintaining a clean, safe working environment in line with health & safety requirementsSkills & Experience Required:

Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment

Proven Goods-In experience with strong stock consolidation skills

Knowledge and experience of racking systems

Experience using warehouse systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (advantageous but not essential)

Valid forklift licences for:

Counterbalance

Bendi

Multi-directional
