Monday to Thursday: 7:40am 4:30pm

Friday: 7:40am 12:20pm

Bamford Contract Services are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join a well–established manufacturing business based in Middleton, Manchester.

Our client operates a modern manufacturing facility specialising in high–quality, high–volume precision sheet metal fabrication. Their services include CNC punching, laser cutting, bending, forming, welding, powder coating, painting, machining, fabrication and assembly.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long–term permanent position within a professional manufacturing environment, with regular overtime available.

General Labourer Key Responsibilities

Carrying out general labouring duties within a busy manufacturing environmentUsing hand tools safely and effectivelyDeburring and finishing metal componentsAssisting engineers and production staffMoving and handling materialsSupporting fabrication and assembly operationsLoading, unloading and moving materials around the siteOperating a counterbalance FLT where requiredMaintaining a clean and organised working areaFollowing all company health and safety procedures General Labourer Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment is desirableExperience using hand toolsPhysically fit and comfortable with manual handlingReliable, punctual and hardworkingGood attention to detailAble to work effectively as part of a teamWilling to undertake overtime when required Desirable but not essential:
